Showhouse

Some time ago I've installed two bird boxes as a nest places in my yard.
I've never seen my cat walking up in the trees, so I assumed she just doesn't do that and the birds will feel free to settle down once in a while.
Silly me...so silly.
Three days after hanging the boxer really high I saw Susie sitting on the 'rooftop' of one of the boxes, staring upside down into the black hole of the entry!
She looked like a junkie..

I've lost my hope for seeing little birds grow up but didn't make an effort to tqake them down.
And you know what?
It occured every once in a while a pair or two of some birds come to my garden and 'watch the houses' for settling down
